About Us

Our Origin

Eros Psychotherapy was founded by Jami De León and Oliver Davidson in 2024 with a vision to reimagine how relationship issues are addressed in therapy. After working closely together for years in a traditional couples therapy practice, we realized how rare it was for therapists to address relationship, trust, and sex issues all in one setting. Clients would often have to seek separate therapies for each concern or, worse, leave sexual issues unaddressed. This led us to naturally develop our unique holistic approach, integrating relationship, intimacy, and sexual concerns into one cohesive treatment to provide the highest quality care for our clients.

Our Approach

We strive to address every aspect of a relationship: emotional, relational, and physical. Often, physical distance is a symptom of deeper relational problems, such as lack of trust or poor communication. However, physical difficulties—particularly those related to infertility or erectile dysfunction—can also create conflict and emotional distance within the relationship. We work with couples to uncover the root causes and guide them toward true healing, helping them reconnect and rebuild from a place of understanding.

What truly sets us apart is our collaborative approach to couples and individual therapy. Over the years, we’ve found that working as a unified team to treat both individual partners and the relationship as a whole yields the best results for our clients. By working together with different parts of the same system, we gain a deeper understanding of each person’s history and challenges, as well as greater insight into the relationship’s patterns and needs. This allows our therapists to intentionally tailor therapy, target issues more directly, and ensure both partners feel heard and supported.

Our Mission

At Eros Psychotherapy, we believe that true healing happens when we embrace the whole messy package—with care, empathy, and mutual understanding. We know healthy relationships can be tough, but they shape who we are, and they’re worth fighting for. As our practice continues to grow, we remain committed to helping you through the real stuff in life. Whether you need to laugh, cry, curse like a sailor, or stare blankly into the abyss, we only ask one thing: be your true self with us.
